Hubble bubble, this cat’s trouble …
But in the most adorable way!
Here at Edspire HQ we adore Midnight
A rare type of cat born at midnight and so filled with strong magic
Midnight Magic written by Michelle Harrison and illustrated by Elissa Elwick
Is one of our favourite seasonal series
We loved the first book and the second
And the third may be the best yet!
Is the perfect rhyming story
For half term and Halloween
A story of family and friendship
Of being true to yourself
A story of magic
The joy of books
And the wonder of outside play
Perfectly packaged in the third adventure
Of Trixie and Midnight
Dad and Gran
Is a wonky witch
Who flies in the light
And a friendly dragon
Made of autumn leaves
Every richly illustrated page is filled
With magic, mischief, mayhem
And so much fun!
We love every character from Midnight the cat
To Twiggy the magical broom
Trixie is the little girl all my little girls want to be
We love these books because they are fun and funny
With rhyming text that makes them a joy to read aloud
We look forward to the next adventure of Midnight each year
We hope that there will be more books to come
We always read these books in one sitting
Usually while crafting or colouring
This year we are heading outside
To make our very own leaf dragons
We are also going to make our own
Bubbling potions in pumpkin cauldrons
And write out some magical midnight spells
We might even squeeze in a visit to a bookshop
And search for stories of magic, mischief
Black cats and fun
Tis the season!!
