Is The Girl Who Stole An Elephant
Written by Nizrana Farook
We use Chatty Zebra for ideas for our book study
Today we learned about Myna birds
Which led us to watching a David Attenborhough video
From the 1970s when he met a talking Myna bird
This led us on to watching David Attenborough clips
About the Lyre Bird
These are birds that mimic sounds around them
And incorporate them into their song
We then remembered one of our favourite
David Attenborogh programmes
Paradise Birds
And we watched the whole documentary again
Birds of Paradise are amazing
All birds are intriguing
We love watching birds here at Edspire HQ
We currently have a large family of starlings
That come to our feeder every morning
The mother bird pecks the energy balls
And feeds the crumbs to her young
The dynamics of the family are fascinating to observe
We also have a gorgeous goldfinch family
That bring us great joy
We love birds and if you do too
We have the perfect book for you
