May is our month of Mae
On the 2nd of May
We celebrate Baby Tilda’s birthday
Our beautiful daughter died aged 9 months old
In 2013
This year would have been her 9th birthday
And we celebrated her special day with Granny and Grandad
We also visited a bookshop in her honour
And walked not one mile in memory
As we often do
But 9 miles for 9 years

This year she turned 4
I cannot quite believe that she is four already
She is such a gorgeous quirky character
She was spoiled by her grandparents, godparents and siblings
And good old Aunty Julie x
Though only Granny and Grandad could be with us in person
Nanny, Grandpa, Godmother Chele, Great Uncles, Great Aunties and Aunty Julie
All sent gifts and cards
Which totally made her day
She had the best day and I am so incredibly proud of Esther, William and Bea
Who all made her special gifts and cards
And were so wonderful at making sure their baby sister had the perfect day
And it was a perfect gentle cake filled day
I lost count of the times Edie told us that it was the best birthday ever
