Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent
Two sleeps after that and December begins
And the children begin their official countdown to Christmas
We are having a very homely advent and Christmas this year
Each of the children have an advent book
One that I hope they will treasure this year and all years
A book for us all to share while drinking hot choc
And munching on festive treats
A book that I hope I will one day read with my grandchildren
