I know it is only November

But this year we are having an extended book advent

All the books we read end up in our Christmas Book Selection Box

We can then enjoy them throughout the festive season

This week I have been sharing lots of books

That retell the story of The Nutcracker

Easing into Christmas gently as I know it is a little early

But also, this year I think we are all starting our festivities a little early

My children most definitely are!

Today is Day 5 of our extended Book Advent. Today I am sharing another version of The Nutcracker. It is from @usborne_books Peep Inside a Fairy Tale series. This is such a pretty book filled with peep holes and cut outs. The pictures are so beautiful and so detailed. There are flaps to open and a simple retelling of this classic festive ballet, a story little ones love so much as it is filled with the magic of Christmas. This is an enchanting book and some of the cut out details, the snowflakes especially, are exquisite.
