For the last few weeks
We have been trying out
Jooki – the smart music player for kids
With ToyTouch technology perfect for little hands
Parents and carers can control what the children have available to listen to
But then children can choose what they hear when
Playlists are linked to one of five cute characters
(William loves the knight!)
That touches the main body of the Jooki
And starts to play the programmed sounds
It’s magic at their fingertips!
Set up is simple and the music player comes with all you need to get started
Including a detailed set up guide and instruction booklet
You simply download the app to your phone or other device
Then connect the Jooki to your wifi
The Jooki comes with some preprogrammed music
Or you can play your own Spotify playlists
This works best if you have a premium account
But a free account can be used
This intuitive music machine for children
Can also stream internet radio stations
And play uploaded MP3 files
Jooki have given a lot of thought to safe listening for little ears
As a parent you can not only select the content your children listen to
You can also set the volume level
And set the sounds to stop after a certain time
Which is useful for timed activities
And for independent listening at bedtime
The Jooki has a headphone jack which is very useful in a large family
And also for using the Jooki in public places
Is durable and splash proof
It can be used anywhere
And is robust enough to be carried around
This means children can use their Jooki independently
Around the house
In the garden
In the car
To play music or audio books
Jooki has become a huge hit in our house
It provides accompaniment for ballet practice
Backing tracks for singing and music practice
Soundtracks for shows
It provides playlists for playroom discos
Ambient background music for reading in bed
Entertainment in garden dens and camps
It allows children to play audio stories while colouring
And once the little ones get over the novelty of changing the sounds
Every five minutes!!
The Jooki is a valuable resource for our home learning and play
No more scratched or lost CDs
No more having to keep changing the CD or channel
The Jooki design is bright and fun
It is great for children
But also looks good on display around the house
The Jooki also offers something else
Something especially nice in our current situation
It provides an alternative way to stay in touch with friends and family
Using the Jooki app people can send the children a recorded voice message
Grandparents can read stories
Cousins can sing happy birthday
Friends can send fun messages
There are lots of possibilities
For getting creative and staying connected
While adults remain in control of what children listen to
The children are given independence and choice
We have found the Jooki to be most used with our almost 3 and nearly 6 year old
Though the 9 year olds have found uses for the music player too
We will be sharing the many ways we use our Jooki over on Instagram
Why not come over and join us
And see what the Jooki can do
And decide if it might be something for you
