Ever since becoming a mummy to premature twins
And especially since Tilda died
I have suffered with anxiety
There are many things that trigger panic in me
But two major ones are getting out and about on my own with four young children
And driving on my own with the children to new places
This year
This decade
I am trying to conquer those two fears
I am trying to get out and about with the children every day
And I am trying hard to travel to new to us places
In and around Kent
As we visit places around our local area
I build upon my collection of what I call my safe spaces
The places I know that I can go to on my own with my children
And we will be okay
Places with good coffee (SO essential!)
Lots of clean toilets
Indoor and outdoor areas to be
Lots of space to run around
And good parking!
Over on Instagram I have been busy sharing our days out
Sharing our home education and family adventures
Sharing the places I am happy to go to on my own
With four young children
The spaces where we feel safe to just be
I thought I would share our favourites here too
These are our safe spaces
Our happy places
Places we have been visiting regularly
For years
I would love to know your safe spaces
Your happy places
I would also love any recommendations
For other places to visit with small people
Especially in and around Kent
To follow our adventures
Do come and follow us on Instagram
#edspireedventures await!
