I have set myself a challenge
To make 52 sensory bottles
Or discovery bottles
Over the coming year
I am actually ahead of that number
As Esther and I are really enjoying
Making up the bottles and jars
For Bea and Edie
Last week we made a
Star of the Sea Sensory Bottle
This week we have stayed with the star theme
And made a slow falling star jar
This sensory bottle is really easy to make
And is a beautiful visual stimulant for all the family
Rainbow stars fall
Slowly
Through a jar of bubbles
It is really very pretty
And calming to watch
Perfect for quiet moments
Long car journeys
A distraction
The slow falling
Brightly coloured stars
Are great for babies to track
The jar makes a perfect tummy time toy
And can be rolled away from baby
To encourage them to reach, roll and crawl
Here is how to make your own
Slow Falling Star Jar
Take an empty bottle or jar
Add a sprinkle of stars
We bought some sparkly rainbow star beads from Amazon
Fill three quarters of the jar with clear hand soap
We used Simple
Fill the rest of the bottle with clear washing up liquid
We used Seventh Generation
Shake and gaze!
Rainbows
Stars
Bubbles
We love you and miss you Matilda Mae
Nice post!
