Now that Bea has passed the nine month milestone
I feel I owe myself
Baby Bea
And the rest of our family
A chance to believe that our beautiful Rainbow Baby
Will survive
Will grow
And in less than three months
Celebrate her very first birthday
As we begin to make plans
For a shared party for Esther, William and Bea
I thought I would share some of the gift ideas
I am looking at for babies
And that all important first birthday
I am starting with water tables
Esther and William adore water play
And I am hoping that Bea will too
I would love her to have a water table of her very own
To inspire her aqua play
Here are five of my favourites
Five water tables perfect for a first birthday present
Step2 Waterwheel Play Table
This is our current water table. We have had it for four years and we play with it so much, inside and outside, of all kinds of water and sensory play. At £39 it has been fantastic value for money providing hours of family fun. Here is our very first review with lots of cute pictures of baby Esther and William.
My favourite Step2 water table for Bea is the Duck Pond and I love the Tropical Island Resort as a place for all three of them to play.
Little Tikes Spirallin’ Seas Water Table
This table looks great fun. The table has lots of features for enriching and extending play. The table is a good height for young toddlers and it looks sturdy enough to support those not so steady on their feet. I love combining balls with water play and the wheel and scoops that come with this table make the combination even more fun.
Plum Wooden Sand and Water Table
This wooden table from Plum Products offers multi level, multi material play. The wood finish looks great and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The two tables can be used together or apart. This is a sand and water set that would grow with your family as well as your child.
Clear Sand and Water Table from TTS
I love this table and the ways to play it offers. I can imagine filling it with waterbeads and sea creatures. You can look through the clear casing to see what is inside. So many exciting possibilities for sensory and water play. This is pricier than most water tables but I think it would be an investment worth making. This water table would be great for children of all ages. TTS also have this circular water table that looks amazing! Both of these tables have multi layer interiors to explore.
Smoby Sand and Water Table
I think that this table from Smoby looks perfect for a young toddler. I love that the sand can be covered while baby is playing with the water. The two sections could also be used for other messy play materials. A simple, sturdy looking table with removable trays so that play can be at ground level or raised in the table. Some nice accessories too. I really like the design of this table and it would look great in the house or garden.
