We are very lucky to be a Baker Ross Blogger Family
We made some fab and funky glasses for Valentines Day
And a pom pom sensory garden for Spring
Now we are getting ready for Easter
Baker Ross craft packs are wonderful for little people
Everything that you need
Collected together with simple to follow pictorial instructions
Esther and William get so excited when they come home from school
To discover an activity pack with their snack
They love seeing what they are going to make
We have learned now to check all the things we need are included in the pack
Often we need to find scissors and glue before we start
Our first Easter craft was making pop up puppets using paper cups
A wooden stick, foam stickers and googly eyes
Esther and William really enjoyed making these
And were able to do so with very little help from me
Following the instructions
They made their puppets
A bunny for Esther
And for William a chick
They then decorated their cups
This was really good for developing fine motor skills
And I was very pleased that though the process was fiddly
William did not give up
He worked hard and was really focused on what he was doing
When their pop up puppets were made
It was lovely to see their pride and delight
In what they had made
We all played together with the puppets
Esther and William loved them
And so did Bea
We played and we giggled together
We had wonderful fun
Esther and William played with their puppets for the rest of the afternoon
A great value pack from Baker Ross
Our second Easter activity was making decorative paper bags
A rabbit for Esther again
For William a chick
This pack again contains all the needed bits
To make very cute bags that would be perfect for egg hunts at Easter
These bags would be great to make at parties
At Easter or for Spring birthdays
Esther and William liked their bags so much
That they took them in to school for Show and Tell
Once again the manipulation and application of small sticky parts
Make this a creative way to work on fine motor skills
A task that again William was keen to complete
And did so confidently
With a little help from his sister
Esther has also been busy making Granny some flowers for Mothers’ Day
This is a lovely craft pack making a foam flower craft
Using the child’s hand as a starting point
Esther’s Godmother helped her to carefully draw around and cut out her hand
This would be a lovely activity for carers to do with children
To give to mummies or grannies on Mothers’ Day
We are loving being Baker Ross Bloggers
And cannot wait to tell you more about what we have been up to in the last few days
We were sent a selection of craft resources to review in my role as a Baker Ross Blogger
I love the Easter bags, am going to try making some for our Easter Egg hunt 🙂
