Today is the day we shout to the world
I am a parent of a premature child
Whether in your arms or in your heart
This is a day you can play a part
Stand up, be counted, be proud
Stand strong, be counted, be LOUD!
Share your stories, lend your words
So those without voices
Through us might be heard
How did your journey start?
Where are you now?
Can a difference be made?
Yes? Then how?
What can be changed?
What can be done?
To improve provision for our littlest ones?
Who gives you hope?
What makes you care?
What can be altered
To make life chances fair?
Who has supported you?
Who has inspired?
Tell us about the
people you have admired
This is your platform
World Prematurity Day
Link any post below
To have your say
I will share and retweet
As much as I can
Lets raise awareness
Make as much noise as we can
Lets lend our voices
To those not always heard
Lets tell their stories
Lets spread their word
Birth stories, challenges
Charity aims
Success stories, memorials
Pictures and names
Inspiring quotations
Poetry, prose
What you wish people would do
Could know
This is your platform
Come lend your voice
This World Prematurity Day
Lets make some noise!
Lovely idea to raise awareness of all issues around prematurity Jennie, thank you xxx
Lovely idea Jennie, have linked up 2 posts. Thank you for hosting. xx
Such a superb idea to share. I have been spreading posts over my social networks. A lot of RT’s yesterday actually so hopefully all our support together as a community can help support. I agree in that ‘it was ok for him to just have breathed’ that day. The day they took off the mask assisting him gave me the strength and hope to be stronger for him.
Great idea to raise awareness: I haven’t had the time or inspiration to write anything new, so I’m sharing the post I wrote about how it all began xx

What a wonderful way of helping to raise awareness. Thank you for hosting this link-up. I’m not a parent of a premature baby but was one myself and my first born spent time in the intensive care unit as a baby so am sharing a post to help raise awareness for all premature babies and their families.
Thanks for linking these posts. This is my first proper blog post (therefore start of my first blog!) looking at my story of premature birth from differing perspectives. It may be a difficult read at times. http://benwillsblog.wordpress.com/
What a great way to raise awareness and such lovely words. Your twins were so tiny x
