I am really struggling for ideas for William this Christmas
It is usually Esther I am searching for with uncertainty
But this year our four year old daughter knows exactly what she wants
William does not know
Or does not know how to tell us
He knows he wants to go back to Thomas Land
And he loves his dinosaurs and trains
But he cannot tell us anything that he would like Father Christmas to bring
I have been busy browsing toy shops
In person and online
I think I have been looking in the wrong places
Today I turned to TTS
One of my favourite teaching resources stores
And there I found a total treasure trove
Of goodies for four year old boys
Esther and William would actually both love my first find
I think they would find it very funny
Making people with bendy arms and legs
Acting out scenes with them
Making people with animal faces
I think Esther and William would like Popoids a lot
TTS have lots of things like this
Tactoids look great for children like William
Who like their vehicles to have faces
Crazy Creatures look cute and funny
They get children thinking about what to make and how
Then also offer imaginative play potential
Developing motor skills and language through play
William adores dinosaurs and this set of giant dinosaurs would raise a smile on Christmas Day
William loves playing in the garden on his bike
These traffic signs would bring an exciting creative dimension to his outdoor play
This tummy surfer looks like a great way to get around while developing body strength
And gross motor skills
For a boy who loves gadgets and making things work
And a Daddy who is a programmer and software developer
A Bee-Bot could be a very interesting idea
These remote control bugs also look great fun … for all the family!
William loves magnets and numbers
I think this Diamond Counting Game would be a big hit
I could go on and on
There are so many great things for little people at TTS
If you are in need of some inspiration this Christmas

What great ideas. I have two nearly four year olds and this will definitely help.
I really recommend the Popoids, my parents in law have these at their house from when my husband and his siblings were small, and all the grandchildren still love them! My Mother in law reckons they were one of the best toys ever. I can’t recommend Playmobil enough, I think it’s the best toy ever and my 6 year old son plays with his everyday, it’s a toy that just grows with him. What does he want for Christmas, more playmobil!
