Hello my name is Russell
I am more than just a dog
If you know my sheep friend Ewan
Then you may guess my job

I am a loyal companion
Your child can take to bed
When they move out of their cot
Leave Ewan, take me instead

I am super soft and cuddly
With a greeny bluey glow
When your child needs some calming
I can put on quite a show

Children do not look into my eyes
But into my tummy fur
I will relax and unwind them
With my gentle glowing blur

I will light the room around me
With coloured light therapy
Until they are sleeping soundly
Kids can cuddle up with me

If they need more reassurance
When going to bed at night
I can talk and tell them stories
As well as share my light

Gently press my other paw
For familiar voices that they know

I am great to cuddle up to
I make a special friend
I can cheer up sad non smiley faces
And poor bits I can mend

ps – my children have never met Ewan and they still adore Russell. This is a bedtime companion for anyone. Especially those who like a sleep time cuddly.
