I have been aware of the new photography linky with the lovely Lucy from Dear Beautiful for a while but have not felt able to join in.
For two reasons
One
I thought it would be too hard each month to take photos of just two of our children. Then I realised that the love they share, their growing relationship, cannot be ignored. Celebrating Esther and William does not mean I love Matilda less. It makes me love and miss her more. Imagining how she would fit in if she were here. Matilda Mae fills my dreams because of the love and friendship Esther and William share. It is something to treasure and to be proud of. And I am proud, so very proud, of all our children.
Two
I did not think that my photographs were good enough to belong to such a wonderful collection.
Brotherly love from The Mummy Adventure
Cute couple from Clarina’s Contemplations
But now I see that it is not the photography that is important but the record of a blossoming friendship, the capture of sibling adventures, the illustration of pure love.
I am in!
And here are my little cave dwellers, doing what they do best, being together.
Beautiful pictures of your twins! They look like really happy little souls. x Mel
Oh I’m so glad to have you joining in. I can only begin to understand the gap that you can see in a photo of your biggest two together, we all see the gap too.
But it is lovely to see you’re gorgeous twins together and so happy in one another’s company. x
Such sweet pictures! It looks like they had fun! Thank you for linking to my blog… So honoured. Your photos are perfect and your children, all of them, are beautiful.xxx
Just beautiful xx
I love these photos – the twins are clearly so close and happy in each other’s company. It makes me realise that I should document more of Little Man and Curly Girl’s time together – they grow up so quickly x
Lovely to see you joining in Jennie, and your twins look so close in the photos that you post of them together. You should be very proud of all of them, and their closeness is definitely something that should be celebrated even though I am sure it also has a underlying meaning for you. Thinking of you always. x
Lovely – it’s just such a simple yet important thing to do, to capture them together, be it happily or arguing, it’s all memories for them to look back on x
I agree! Your photos are lovely and its all about the memories!
I’m taking part in ‘Siblings’ and my photos are far from professional (taken with my IPhone!) and I don’t even have siblings yet! My photo’s consist of my little boy and my bump! 🙂 x
