At Esther and William’s birthday party, amidst all the energy and excitement, I wanted a quiet spot for Tilda.
When we were sent a box of Angel Malma Stars from Kids One Stop Shop, I knew exactly what I wanted to use them for.
At the party I put out a painting table with colours and sparkly gems and jewels. I asked all the children to paint and decorate a star.
During the party my friend had the idea of putting them on a tree to dry and that became our Matilda Memory Tree for the afternoon.
Now the party is over I have all the stars to make Baby Tilda Bunting for the playroom.
We still have a few left to decorate while we are on holiday. I want to decorate them and write messages on them and send them out to sea. Our messages for Matilda Mae. Our Star of the Sea.
Angel Malma Stars are eco friendly and can be decorated with paints or pens or collaged. The box contains 24 2D stars and 12 3D stars that can be made into hanging decorations. We are going to make the hanging decorations in November ready to hang up at advent.
This box of stars would be great for children to make Christmas gifts for friends or class mates at school. Would also be great for toddler groups or to create something special at home.
Esther has loved painting the stars and because she knows they are for Tilda she really takes her time. She seems very peaceful as she paints. William is a more physical painter and he is incredibly fast. He does love the sticky gems we used for extra sparkle though!
The Angel Malma Stars costs £25 which makes it about £1 a star. This activity has really captured our imaginations and given us some lovely time creating together with our family and friends.
You can buy the Angel Malma sets from Kids One Stop Shop. As well as the stars to paint and decorate, you can build angels and hearts among others. I really like these kits and feel that we will be buying a few more as Christmas approaches.
I would like Esther and William to make Christmas stars as presents for family and friends and at the Matilda Mae Welly Walk we are hoping to have stars for the children to paint and decorate and take home.

We were sent one box of stars for the purpose of this review.
