Lately you may have seen Esther and William wearing some award winning clothes!!
They were lucky enough to be sent a clothes parcel from the fabulous Lilly and Sid.
Today I want to tell you about the summer season outfit that William was sent.
He absolutely loves it and it is now official garden party wear!
Because of Baby Tilda we all wear a lot of stars but William’s absolute favourite thing to wear is shorts.
Often in the morning he will say to me, ‘What am I wearing today, Mummy? Shorts, I think. I think I am going to be wearing shorts today.’
On days that he does indeed wear shorts if anyone visits our house they will be greeted by William, who will run up to them saying, ‘I’ve got my legs out. I’m wearing shorts today. I’ve got legs!’
This is a boy who loves to get his legs out.
So imagine his utter delight on receiving a pair of starry shorts! They are without doubt his favourite things to wear to expose his chubby white legs!
William is so small that he can get clothes from the baby range and so he was sent this very cute Arthur Octopus Short Set. A t-shirt with an applique octopus and some fabulous star print shorts.
The t-shirt is made of cotton jersey and has poppers at the neck. I like tops with poppers at the neck as my gorgeous son seems to have an unusually large head for his very little body.
The character octopus is lovely and made up of bright colours.
The shorts are lovely and light for summer, and key for my children they dry really quickly if they get wet!!
The shorts are made from Lilly and Sid‘s soft woven twill fabric and have a soft ribbed elasticated waist for comfort.
The star print is fun and funky and perfect for the summer months ahead.
This set would make a great present for a baby boy or young toddler. It is perfect summer play wear. A great set for garden or beach and perfect for outdoor play.
The set costs £30. It washes well and William loves wearing it and for those reasons I think that it is well worth the money.
William was sent this shorts set to wear and test for this review.
We have also been sent some fabulous items from the Lilly and Sid girls range so watch out for that review coming soon.
Lilly and Sid say that they create baby clothes and an older brother and sister range. I love this for the obvious reason that Esther and William are older siblings even though our baby is no longer here.
Please check out the Lilly and Sid website and if you like what you see then you can bid for some of their beautiful baby clothes in the Matilda Mae Memorial Auction where all proceeds are being donated to The Lullaby Trust.
Love those shorts! I wish my boys weren’t so big as they grow out of the baby ranges too fast! x
Jennie my boy loves shorts just as much as yours. He wears shorts to school everyday (well not when it’s snowing but he would if I’d let him!) and changes into other shorts as soon as he’s home. I don’t know if he’ll ever like wearing long trousers as like William he likes to get his legs out! He’s recently turned eight and has been like that ever since he was a toddler. I also want you to know that you’re never far from my thoughts.
Lovely star shorts and cute legs!
