This review is long overdue and for that I am truly sorry because this is such a lovely product and I am so proud to be able to tell you about it.
The Play Stacker from Kimber Kids is a plush toy for young babies. Matilda has been using hers daily now for over 4 months. It is made up of four parts, a soft pole that has three soft rings attached to it. Each ring is a different colour and has a different pattern. Each ring is a slightly different shape and features a different squeaky character. All of which Matilda loves!
We take this toy with us everywhere. It is easily attached to car seats, pushchairs, cot rails and shopping trolleys.
The stacker has been designed by Kimber Kids to develop your child’s hand-eye coordination as well as touch and visual sensory development through its stacking and pulling play pattern.
Matilda giggles when the squeakers are squeaked. She loves pulling the rings off the stacking pole and she loves bashing two rings together.
This is a great sensory toy that allows for exploration of colour, pattern, movement and sound.
The central pole is also a rattle that Matilda loves to shake and chew. This alone would be a good toy for Matilda, the soft stackable shapes are an additional luxury for her.
I think that the Kimber Kids Play Stacker is a wonderful toy that grows with your baby. The characters mean that an element of imaginary play can be introduced. My two year old twins line up the animals and say that they are waiting for a bus. They love to stand them all up in a line and then knock them over like dominoes. At the moment I am encouraging them to build small towers for Matilda to enjoy knocking over and so it is fostering some collaborative play in our home.
This is a brightly coloured, textured toy that is waiting to be explored and enjoyed by babies of all ages and it has some potential for use with toddlers too.
Kimber Kids make beautiful toys and they are a British company so next time you are looking for a new baby gift then please do check them out. I have my eye on the piggy bank for Matilda Mae!
Kimber Kids have a lovely website that you can check out and they also have an active page on Facebook where you can find out more about them and their inspirational, educational baby toys. We are their newest fans!
