Another year, another Brit Mums Live event and another plea for sponsorship from me.
Last year I was lucky enough to be sponsored by the lovely Bundlebean and Snnozeshade for this two day blogging event. I took Matilda Mae with me and she was a perfect model baby! And a great ice breaker!
This is what I learned at Brit Mums Live in 2012 x
This year I will need to be a bit more confident as I will be going child free!!
I have been blogging now for over two years. This blog started as a record of my journey through NICU with twins, Esther and William, born at just 27 weeks.
Esther and William are now two and a half years old and Edspire has documented our journey as a family.
Last year Edspire focused very much on pregnancy, birth and babies as Esther and William welcomed their baby sister to the world. The very beautiful, and cheeky, Matilda Mae!
This year, 2013, will see the blog focus on weaning, potty training, toddler taming and moving twins from cots to beds. I also want to really focus on books for children and learning through play and generally making the most of life with three children under three.
I am an emotional, passionate mummy who wants to be the best mummy she can be while also helping others in their journey through parenthood too.
I am also a wannabee writer and my blog is my vehicle for that. To help my blog grow I am keen to attend blogging conferences and events.
One of the biggest of these is Brit Mums Live 2013.
Brit Mums Live 2013 will be held on 21st and 22nd June 2013.
BritMums Live! is the UK’s largest gathering of lifestyle parent bloggers — it’s the best place to connect in person, share inspiration, forge relationships with quality brands and PRs, and hone your blogging skills. More than 500 delegates attended the conference in June, including Sarah Brown, Ruby Wax, Cherry Healey, Katy HIll and top bloggers across a range of topics.
BritMums bloggers write about everything from food, travel, crafting, parenting, fashion/beauty, and lifestyle – what binds us together is the shared experience of parenthood.
I would view attending this event as a great opportunity for me as a blogger and also as some time for me as a person rather than just as a mummy. It is a chance to network, to share, to learn, to socialise, communicate and grow. I would like to do that on behalf of both my own blog and any brand that chooses to sponsor me.
I am keen to be sponsored by a family brand. A brand that I can promote and champion honestly through the blog. A brand that shares my values and passion for our little people. A brand that I believe in and one that believes in me and what I am trying to do.
In return for sponsoring me for Brit Mums Live I would love to offer:
A badge / advert on the homepage of my blog for a period of at least 12 months with a direct link to your website.
A post introducing you as my Brit Mums Live Sponsor for 2013.
Your brand name mentioned in all my posts, tweets and mentions of Brit Mums Live 2013.
To review any products or services that you feel would benefit from a blogger review.
To host competitions or giveaways for your brand on this blog.
To write an article or guest post for your blog or website.
I will hand out business cards at Brit Mums Live mentioning you as my sponsor clearly on the cards.
I am happy to discuss any other ideas a company or brand may have about ways that we could work together as part of the sponsorship deal and beyond.
And what would I need in return?
Ideally the cost of the conference ticket which currently stands at £49.99 + £2 booking fee and one night’s hotel accommodation following the first day’s conference (remember this is a two-day event) This should cost no more than £150.00 depending on prices at the time of booking. I would also need to travel from Kent by train which would cost in the region of £50 bringing the sponsorship total to approximately £200.
If you would be interested in sponsoring a young toddler focused blog for this event, reaching out to over 4000 influential bloggers I would love the chance to talk to you.
You can contact me by email jennie@edspire.co.uk or through Twitter @Edspire.
I do hope to hear from you.
