This week David has been changing our dining room into his office.

The reason for this is that he tends to work long hours in the evening and until now has gone upstairs to do so leaving me downstairs all night on my own.

Which is fine apart from I also spend most of my night working on personal admin or on this blog.

It makes sense for us to work in the same room.

The office is lovely actually and today we all spent some time in there together.

We have bought a beautiful Chesterfield armchair and sofa. Our dining table is now David’s desk but also houses my beautiful new printer for all my creative projects.

We have a TV on the wall and all our shelves filled to bursting with books.

It is actually a really lovely place to be.

All three children seem to think so too and made themselves quite at home in there today.

William rediscovered all the toys that I had set aside for giving away to charity or toddler group.

Including this old favourite!
