Sleep is precious. It is something that all mummies crave more of. Something that all babies need.
Matilda is not a great sleeper. At 7 months she is still in our room. She is in a cot with a side dropped so that she is adjoined to our bed. She still ends up in our bed every night. She hears me come into the room and within minutes is awake and crying to be in my arms. Once snuggled up with Mama she falls straight back to sleep. Often without even attempting to feed. She is a funny little thing.
For 7 months we have not slept through a whole night and so I am a willing reviewer of all things sleep related.
May I introduce to you By Carla.
For the last few months Matilda Mae has been testing a Raspberry Bloom 1 Tog Sleeping Bag from By Carla.
The red polka dot sleeping bag has a maximum tog rating of 1 making it perfect for summer babies like Matilda Mae.
Though the 1 tog is designed as a summer sleeping bag as Matilda often ends up in our bed 1 tog is proving to be more than enough for autumn and winter too. Though I have to admit that I do love the look of the Raspberry Bloom 2.5 tog with detachable sleeves, should Santa bring Matilda any money!
There are a whole host of baby accessories in the By Carla Raspberry Bloom range and if you are buying for a baby girl I do urge you to check them out as they are truly beautiful.
Matilda seems very snug in her 1 tog bag. The central zip provides easy access for nappy checks and changes. The zip shield ensures that Matilda stays comfortable through her naps and through the night. The bag is long enough to provide Matilda with plenty of wriggle room.
The bag is beautifully made and washes and tumble dries really well.
It provides warmth for Matilda in her cot especially now that she is on the move. Unlike sheets and blankets a sleeping bag stays with her as she moves. Keeping her tiny toes warm. The inside of the sleeping bag is so snuggly and soft, she genuinely seems to like being inside it.
She also looks adorable in her By Carla bag and the red colour will be perfect with Christmas just around the corner.
By Carla are offering one Edspire reader the chance to win a 1.0 tog sleeping bag of their own. Get your little one ready for the spring or perhaps for sharing your bed this Christmas time!!

We were sent one By Carla 1 tog sleeping bag for the purpose of this review.
Having background noise always make them sleep better such as a radio on quietly,I think it’s comforting for them.
I always put mine in their cot for a nap and then they associate their cot with sleeping. I also sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as I was carrying them upstairs again sothey would associate the song with naptime/bedtime
Try and make the room as dark as you can
get baby into a good bedtime routine, bath, feed, bed.
White noise helps but I found my hairdryer really effective @MummyFever
