Yesterday I wrote about The Dreaded RSV.
At this time of year many parents of premature babies live in fear of their children getting sick. For babies born too small, too sick and/or too soon a cold could mean a hospital visit and a possible readmission.
There are things you can do to try and avoid contracting RSV and I talked about them in length yesterday.
The best thing to do for the health of all children, not just the tiniest ones, is to encourage good hand hygiene.
For the last couple of months we have been testing two products from My Pocket Buddy.
Esther and William have been carrying with them an 8ml pen spray and I have been using a 50ml foamer.
Not sure what I am talking about?
Hand sanitisers.
Let My Pocket Buddy explain their product for you:
• A unique formulation made from 100% pure and natural ingredients.
• No synthetic chemical nasties.
• Alcohol-free, allergen-free, fragrance-free, and Paraben-free.
• Solvent-free, non-toxic and non-flammable.
• Kills 99.99% of germs and is effective in seconds.
• Refreshing and quick drying, with no sticky residue.
• Contains a natural moisturiser; Aloe Vera.
• All our product materials are recyclable and we use recycled materials in our packaging.
• Use anytime and anywhere: school, nurseries, holidays, picnics, festivals, camping, work.
• Conforms to airline hand luggage regulations (8ml and 50ml only).
• Laboratory tested to BS EN 1276.
• Contains no animal derived ingredients and has not been tested on animals.
The 8ml spray pens for kids are perfect for taking to school in a bag. They are also great for germ filled soft play centres! We take ours everywhere in our nappy bag and after each nappy change we all have a spray. Esther and William love nothing more than a chance to wash their hands at the moment, any excuse for a bit of water play, and once they have washed their hands we spray with My Pocket Buddy to keep the germs away.
Little hands are always up to something, often touching or picking up the yuckiest things they can get their fingers on. By simply popping My Pocket Buddy® into their pocket, lunch box, school bag or pencil case, you’ve no need to worry about them picking up nasty germs, giving you peace of mind. That’s because My Pocket Buddy® has been scientifically formulated to kill 99.99% of germs, whilst still being kind to the most delicate (and mischievous) little hands.
My Pocket Buddy though ideal for children is not solely for them. It is effective and convenient for all the family. I now have a 50ml foamer in my change bag or coat pocket at all times. I love that My Pocket Buddy products are gentle on the skin and even contain moisturising ingredients.
When Esther and William were in hospital and when they first came home our hands were so sore and cracked and dry where we were washing them all the time. I remember clearly David wincing as he put the hospital hand sanitiser onto the broken skin of his hands. I wish there had been Opure products back then.
One thing I would definitely bought for our first winter at home is the My Pocket Buddy 500ml desk top dispenser. We had so many random little 50ml bottles around the house. A couple of these My Pocket Buddy’s strategically placed I am certain would have been more convenient and effective. We could have kept one for our rare visitors right by the front door.
Hand hygiene is so important for families with young children. There are times when I think we will never break free of the cycle of one winter illness after another. I know for any hope of that we need to keep washing and sanitising our hands. My Pocket Buddy provides a fun and funky, affordable way to help us to do that.
And they would like to help you and your little ones too.
My Pocket Buddy are offering one lucky Edspire reader the chance to win 10 of their 8ml spray pens. These are ideal for handbags, school bags, brief cases or pencil cases and lunch boxes too. My Pocket Buddy is perfect for children and adults alike.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize is this …
