For the last few weeks we have been testing tights for boys after the lovely Daisy Chain Baby answered my call for help. Remember this post about socks on the school run?

I spoke to Daisy Chain Baby who offered me a pair of tights for boys from Slugs and Snails to review. We loved them so much that William now has five pairs and Esther has total tight envy.

At £10 they are not cheap but they are bright, colourful, chunky and warm. They feel soft against your skin and they wash and dry beautifully. They are obviously really well made and you cannot take them off on your own in the car! And what is more, William seems to love them almost as much as I do! So with all of that in mind I think that they are really great value and really good fun!

I am so impressed with Slugs and Snails Tights for Boys for so many different reasons.

Firstly the designs are striking and the colours are bright and bold. Perfect for brightening up winter and keeping little boys warm.

The feet have non slip soles making them perfect for keeping little feet safe and warm around the house without the need for slippers.

The tights come high above the trouser line hiding the nappy edge which is not a pretty sight poking out between trousers and tops.

Tights for Boys remove the need for a vest and all those poppers!

They are warm enough to be worn alone or under trousers. I have also been putting William in shorts and tights which I think has looked rather funky.

William loves wearing his tights for boys. Tomorrow he will wear his car tights for preschool and his owl tights for a photo shoot on Friday. We have enough pairs now for everyday of the week but I am still going to keep buying more!

Tights for Boys are fun and funky but also perfectly practical and they just make sense. If tights are so sensible for girls to wear through the winter then why not have them keeping our boys warm too?
