I have been trying to find an old email exchange to use as part of this review. When we first started weaning Esther and William it was time to get them to drink some water alongside their first foods and breast milk. I ended up with a whole collection of cups and turned to my mummy friends for help. When I asked what cups they used I got a bunch of emails in return saying that I was not alone and that most mummies have cupboards full of cups, some tried and trusted but many tried and rejected.
I wish that I had known then what I know now.
One of the most important considerations in finding a suitable drinking cup is to make sure that it does not leak when your children throw it around your car and home.
I wish that Munchkin had done then what they have done now.
Introduced their wonderful range of Click Lock cups.
Munchkin’s new range of Click Lock™ Cups are just right because they just CLICK. These cups feature a simple click-and-lock lid to securely close for a leak proof seal – guaranteed. Parents will see, hear and feel the cup lock, so they have triple assurance against dribbles and drips.
Click Lock™ cups are available in an assortment of vibrant colours and styles including spill proof, trainer, straw, and flip straw. Because sometimes things in life just click!
For the last couple of months Esther and William have each been testing a 10oz Click Lock Straw Cup.
I have to honestly say that I have been really impressed.
The cups are attractive to look at, they are easy to use and easy to clean and with the Munchkin Click Lock system they really do not leak!
Esther and William have used them every day now for weeks. They have survived rigorous toddler testing and they have not spilled a single drop.
I have to say that I have found clicking the lock can be a bit tricky and does not work first time every time but once the clicked lock has been achieved then we have had no spillages at all.
I have really been very impressed and am certain that we will now be buying more of the Click Lock range for Esther and William but also for Matilda who is now more than ready to wean.
The 10oz straw cups that we have been testing are brightly coloured. They are also a great shape for little toddler hands to hold onto when they are playing.
The Click Lock Straw Cups fit easily into bottle pouches in changing bags and are super easy to clean. Ours have been through the dishwasher daily and are still as good as new.
So here is a tip from one mummy to others – do not have a cupboard of plastic cups like me, turn to Munchkin and pick a Click Lock. Once you’ve Click Locked you just won’t stop!
The Click Lock™ range features ‘ click’ to lock technology providing a leak proof guarantee, so drop, throw or tip upside down, no liquid will come out. The cups could not be simpler to use, simply turn the lid until it ‘clicks’ in to place providing parents with an auditory reassurance that the cup is completely sealed. What’s more, the range, just like all Munchkin products, is fun, vibrant and practical, making parents lives that little bit easier.
You can follow Munchkin on Twitter and like them on Facebook to keep up to date with all the latest Click Lock news.
We were given two Click Lock Straw Cups for the purpose of this review.
