Inspired by Mum in the Madhouse this is my autumn manifesto. I love this season and want to really make the most of it with my family. It is Matilda’s first autumn. I wonder how she will deal with the colder weather?
This autumn, in no particular order, I want to …
Take the twins out on their Smart Trikes every weekend. We got them out for the first time in ages today and they were so excited. They are almost big enough to reach the pedals and so a new chapter begins in our Smart Trike adventure!
Enjoy a weekly woodland walk collecting things for our autumn table.
Go swimming with all the family at least twice a month.
Put our new bedding on and make our bedroom a nice place to be.
Finish the children’s bedrooms and get them moved in.
Make sure that my Prematurity Awareness Month Blog Campaign is a success.
Talk to a counsellor about potential post natal depression.
Arrange a get together for our extended family on the Nairn side.
Go to a fireworks event.
Buy new sofas for the lounge
Do at least one art activity and one baking activity a week with Esther and William
Join the preschool committee
Make an effort to get to know people in our new village
Go on wellie walks and splash in puddles with Esther and William
Get my hair cut
Make more of an effort to look after myself
Be nicer to my Mum when she stays with us
Make Christmas cards with Esther and William
Go on a miniature steam train
Enjoy some guilt free one to one time with Matilda once Esther and William start preschool in November
What do you have planned as the countdown to winter begins? Me and Mum in the Madhouse would love to know x
I love this. I think getting out and about in Autumn is essential. I forgot to put conkers on my list!
I was very inspired by your list. Thank you x
