In our house Organic Babies Mum and Baby Rescue Balm has been renamed Mummy’s Magic Cream.

Baby Balm

Mum and Baby Rescue Balm is a fragrance/scent free multi purpose barrier balm. It is made from Organic shea butter, hemp and calendula; and it is wonderful stuff!

This week alone it has been used for sore bottoms, after sun, barrier cream for a fat sweaty neck, massage oil and to make bumps and bruises better.

As it says on the packaging a little of this magic cream really does go a long way.

It is a rich balm and goes on smoothly. It leaves a sheen to the skin so I find myself using it after I have shaved my legs. It leaves skin super soft and supple without being too greasy. The Rescue Balm is safe to use before and after breastfeeding so makes a great nipple cream and can also be used for perineal massage before baby comes and to soothe soreness after baby.

You can rub the balm all over baby and it does not leave greasy marks on clothes and so it is perfect for some mum and baby bonding massage as pyjamas go on after the bath.

Even Esther, who can be funny about lotions and potions, enjoys having this balm applied.

For me this is now a changing bag essential and where we go Mum and Baby Rescue Balm will go too. It is also perfect for holidays and hospital stays. Would make a great gift for a new mum too!
