Bella Mama

As a breastfeeding Mummy I have to say that I rarely feel comfortable with the way that I look let alone glamourous or sexy. It is not often as a nursing Mummy that I feel confident whilst out and about that I can look nice and feed discreetly.

Over the last few weeks I have been lucky enough to be trialling clothes from Bella Mama. In particular The Hera Nursing Top.

This cobalt blue top is so flattering for a new mummy. It accentuates the assets you want to be noticed and hides my mummy tummy and other flaws. It sits on the hips and creates a really flattering silhouette.

Importantly the top is very easy to feed in either the correct way, using the holes in the underlayer or by pulling down the scoop neck. I found both ways to feed easy, comfortable and discreet.

Mama and Me

It comes in a range of colours but for me I feel that the cobalt blue is stunning and can be worn with so many other colours making it easy to dress and accessorise. It is currently my favourite thing to wear for any occasion.

I don’t know if it is the gathered neckline, the overlayer which drapes in beautiful jersey folds, the cap sleeves that hide the post baby bingo wings or a combination of all those things. But the Hera makes me feel almost like me again.

And at £34.99 the price is competitive too. So much nursing and breastfeeding wear is too expensive for me for everyday use. With Bella Mama though I would like to buy the Hera in every colour and already have my eye on this for the autumn and this beautiful maxi dress for The Mad Blog Awards!

I was also sent a Cara dress in plum from Bella Mama. It was a beautiful wrap dress with fluttery sleeves. It was well made and easy to wear. It was not right for me and made my shoulders look very wide but I can imagine on someone with a different body shape it would look lovely.
