Esther is becoming a very independent little lady these days and one skill that she is doing well is wiping her nose. She calls it cleaning but also loves being encouraged to ‘puff and blow!’
I think because they are toddlers and because they were so very premature, Esther and William pick up every cold going.
They got their first cold of the season on 16th October 2011 and we have been dealing with snotty noses ever since. Surely soon the dry season will begin?
In the meantime we have been loving a little product from Jackson Reece very cutely named the Nose Nuzzle!
These 100% bio-degradable wipes contain natural saline to relieve stuffy noses. They also have soothing aloe vera and chamomile in them to protect sensitive and sore skin.
William in particular gets a very sore nose when he has a cold and his skin often becomes very sore and red just underneath. The Nose Nuzzles have helped me wipe his nose more effectively and comfortably than when using a dry tissue or ordinary baby wipe.
The unscented Nose Nuzzles from Jackson Reece come in a small, resealable pack which is perfect for pockets and change bags. We take ours with us everywhere now and find them much quicker and easier to use for snotty snouts than a conventional tissue or wipe.
The saline helps to clear the nose and allow the children to breathe more easily.
Why has noone ever thought of this before?
Jackson Reece make a range of baby wipe products and having had such sucess with the Nose Nuzzles I am keen to try out their other herbal wipes with the twins and new baby when she comes.

In the meantime here are some gratuitous shots of my super cute snotty snouters!
We were sent two packets of Jackson Reece Nose Nuzzles for the purposes of this review.
