So the time has come for me to start packing my beautiful Pink Lining hospital bag.
I am trying to not pack too much as I am thinking positive and hoping that my stay will not be any longer than 24 hours.
One of the most important things for me, whatever happens, is that I am able to breastfeed my new baby.
I breastfed Esther and William for over a year and surely if I can breastfeed twins then feeding one myself should be easy? But I know, the world works in mysterious ways, and despite my hopes and dreams, things may not work out like that.
However, I want to be prepared so for me one item that is a hospital bag essential is the Medela Breast Care Set.
I have mentioned before on this blog that I have a Medela breast pump and I have also already reviewed their wonder product PureLan 100 which forms a part of this set.
The Medela Breast Care Set is beautifully presented in a bright and colourful, cheerful bag.

Medela understand that new mums can be nervous about breastfeeding, and this is not helped by the fact that there are so many products out there. It can be overwhelming, but mums can be confident when packing their hospital bag that the Medela Breast Care Set they have everything they will need for those first few feeds. It’s also the perfect way for a new mum to try out a few products before deciding what she will need for her personal breastfeeding experience.
Inside the bag are 15 disposable, super absorbent, breastpads; 2 sterile hydrogel pads to soothe sore or cracked nipples between feeds and a 7g tube of PureLan providing natural nipple and skincare.
There is a little room still in the bag if there were any other small items that you wanted to add and keep safe. For example you might like to have milk collection shells for leaking milk or nipple protection shells to protect sore and cracked nipples. All of these products are available from Medela too.
The bag is just the right size to fit into a hospital bag, and later into a change bag, and means that you have all your feeding accessories stored and organised ready for use.
For any mum breastfeeding or expecting to breastfeed the Breast Care Set is a must-have, a hospital bag essential, and makes a lovely gift too!
The Medela Breast Care Set can be bought from Amazon for £15.99.
For the purposes of this review I was sent one set for free.
