This year I will also be attending my first ever blogging conference with heartfelt thanks to my fabulous sponsors BundleBean and Snoozeshade.

On 22nd June I will be travelling to London with my brand new baby girl to attend Brit Mums Live 2012 and I cannot wait.

In preparation for the event I am joining in with the Brit Mums Live 2012 Meet and Greet hosted by Stepford Wifey.

It is lovely to be able to put names to faces and so hopefully ease the nerves I will be feeling when I arrive on the day with little Matilda May.

I am so looking forward to having some quality time with my little girl and to finally meeting some bloggers that I have long admired from afar including The Boy and Me, Multiple Mummy and Two Point Four Children.

I am going to be incredibly nervous but so so excited too. I know I keep saying it but I really cannot wait!

It is going to be an emotional experience for me as I will be in absolute awe of so many people and I owe so many people that I chat to on Twitter heartfelt thanks and great big hugs for helping me through some not so nice times in the past 12 months. It will be like being reunited with friends but friends that I am yet to meet.

And for all of this I will always be grateful to Emily (BundleBean) and Cara (Snoozeshade) for making it possible. THANK YOU!!!!

Height: 5ft 6 – which I believe is average height for a girl?

Hair: Very long and very thick dark brown hair, ordinarily scraped back into a bun but may make a bit of an effort for Brit Mums Live! Though my hair is naturally very dark I do dye it too as I have quite obvious grey streaks near the front if I go au natural!

Eyes: Dark brown, almond shaped

Likes: I love to write and take photographs. I have written poetry since I was a little girl though do not do this so much anymore. I love the theatre and drama. I love teaching. I love reading. I enjoy spending time with my family especially my husband who I adore. I love to swim and love being outside on sunny days. I love fajitas! I love singing and music from every era. I love to dance but am not very good at it. I love my children and want to be the best Mummy I can be though feel somedays that I am struggling to achieve this. I collect Willow figurines and children’s books. I love chocolate. I love giraffes and penguins.

Dislikes: I get bored easily. I don’t like being on my own but often find it hard to be with others. I don’t like that my family all live so far away. I am not very keen on cats. I dislike how unorganised I am. I don’t really like potatoes. I don’t enjoy alcohol so do not really drink. I do not like having to be the one to choose.
