Before Christmas we agreed to test and review a Snow Boogie Inflatable Sledge. Sadly since then we have had very little snow and only a couple of days when a sledge might be used.
We have been able to test it out a bit indoors though. Esther and William love sitting on it and being pushed around the house.
It is not that safe for them out of the house as it is a sit on inflatable rather than a sit in so really the twins are still a bit young.
The sledge we were sent to test is a fabulous 44 inch long inflatable polar bear. David was quickly able to inflate the sledge with a foot pump and there he was ready to go. A shiny, cute polar bear that seems sturdy and safe for children aged four and over to use to have some real fun in the snow.
The Snow Boogie sledge is made of PVC and you can choose between a penguin and a polar bear. The sledge does not have steering control, and as we discovered cannot be pulled along as there is no where to attach a rope. Because of this and because of the pace at which it slides it really is suitable only for older, confident children who can use the sledge independently.
I know that my husband was desperate to have a go but we have just not had enough snow.
You can buy your own inflatable Snow Boogie Sledge from Firebox or Tesco Direct where they are currently on offer for £9.
We were sent one polar bear sledge for the purpose of this review.
