We have a new favourite toy in the Edspire household. Another hit from Toys R Us. Providing Esther and William with all the fun of the fair is the Fisher Price Topsy Tumblers Twirlin’ Whirlin’ Fun Park.
The Fun Park comes in plastic segments which are easy to fit together. I put the park together in less than ten minutes one afternoon when the babies were getting restless.
This is a sturdy, bright, colourful and noisy toy perfect for babies who love all things bright and noisy.
The Fun Park comes with three wibbly wobbly characters affectionately known in our house as Wurzels. These characters can ride on the Ferris Wheel in their little carriages, they can sit at the top of the park in their perch or they can wibble wobble down the slide to land on the star pad that sets off some suitably fabulous fun fair music.
The music and merry go round can also be started by pushing the star button (guess which little girl LOVES this!) or by spinning the roller at the front.
Esther and William are 15 months old and have a corrected age of one year. This toy is perfect for them but was enjoyed just as much by their 8 month old cousin who loves to watch the colourful characters twirlin’ and whirlin’ round the park. Esther, in particular, loves the music and can often be founding doing a little dance.
This is a great toy for sitting at but also encourages standing as the babies stand to put the Wurzels at the top of the slide.
This is a great toy for babies but can be quite irritating for Mummies after a while, not because of the music, but the very loud clanking of the bouncing stairs. It really is very loud and is a shame I think as it is all that stops this excellent toy being a perfect toy.
As it is though I think it would make a great Christmas present for an older baby or younger toddler this Christmas. It will help their hand eye coordination, visual development and sound awareness.
You too can have all the fun of the fair this Christmas right in your own front room for just £34.99 from Toys R Us.

Looks just like the VTech one that we got from a Nearly New Sale. The Boy still loves it and plays with it for ages.
