Plum Helps Bliss Babies Have The Best Start In Life

Regular readers of Edspire will know that Bliss is a charity close to our hearts. Esther and William were born at 27 weeks gestation and the support that I received from Bliss and the friends I made through their forums in their earliest days was amazing and made a huge difference to our lives.

As I write this blog post tonight one of my Bliss friends is battling to hold on to her baby girl. She is 17 weeks pregnant and has already lost one baby girl.

Prematurity affects more people than you know and leaves a mark on the families it affects. Bliss helps families to deal with the emotions and practicalities of dealing with a premature birth, with babies born too small, too sick, too soon.

Their work is vital to the families the charity supports and I know that I am always going to do all I can to ensure that Bliss can continue with their work and help my friends.

This Christmas, organic baby food brand Plum Baby will raise at least £30,000 for Bliss the special care baby charity through sales of its best-selling products and uniquely, through the amount of people who ‘like’ its Facebook page.

Over the next couple of months keep an eye out for special promotional pouches in all the major supermarkets, including Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. For every one of these promotional packs sold, Plum will give 5p to help Bliss the special care baby charity.
