I knew by looking at the Toyjeanius website and through my communications with Jean that any toy sent to review from this company was going to have a superior quality and I have not been disappointed with our first delivery.
Housed in a beautiful, sturdy cardboard box with cord carry handle are our Djeco 5 sided cubes, ideal for stacking, holding, chewing and banging!
Before I play with Esther and William, with any toy, I let them explore it independently. I am always interested to know what they make of something and what they may think it is for. The Djeco cubes were not spared our routine. They even under went the all important taste test and proved themselves to be tough enough to survive the hands and jaws of my soon to be twoddlers!
The Djeco cubes are very ornate. They would look beautiful on show in any nursery or playroom. The cubes also cleverly designed to give a range of educational potential. For this first review I wanted the blocks to be used purely as baby play things, without any adult input.
The striking, colourful cubes immediately caught the eye of William and inquisitive Esther was not far behind. They started to explore the cubes, the colours, the patterns, the pictures, the texture and yes, the taste!
At just £12.95 I would have bought them for this exploratory activity alone but on top of this they have such huge potential for learning through play.
Come back soon to find the second part of our Djeco Cube Review for Toyjeanius where we will talk about learning through play and what focus you can have with this wonderful resource.
In the meantime pop on over to Toyjeanius to view this product and many other quality, traditional toys for babies, toddlers and children.
We can’t wait for our next product to review.
Excellent review Jennie and the twins look like they are having an amazing time.
Thank you. Esther and William both love the cubes. We have been trying to make towers today and I have made an animation which I will post tomorrow. We are loving reviewing this product!
