In June we…
Found the World of Dining Room
Beyond the Land of Living Room
We crawled and cruised and found our way
We clapped and babbled and learned to wave!

In June we…
Travelled North for hundreds of miles
For our very first family holiday
We began to notice each other more
And began together to giggle and play

In June we
Ate prunes and blueberries, pizza too
We had pancakes with maple syrup
We got bumped and bruised and massaged too
We have ride-ons with no pedals or stirrups

In June we
Discovered Cheerios
They became our cereal of choice
We went to Hogwarts in Alnwick too
Tried soft play and reviewing toys

In June we
Tasted crumpets
We sucked on raisin toast
Mummy made us some special meals
But we still love jars the most

In June we
Got our first two teeth
In the middle at the bottom
We also learned that colds and coughs
Leave you feeling rotten

In June we
Loved Mr Tumble on TV
And discovered Show Me Show Me
We love our Sing and Sign DVD
And sing along with Mummy

In June we
Both played instruments
Our favourite is a shaker
We are famous twins now too
With our picture in the paper!

In June we
Started drinking water
And some formula from a cup
We are eating so much food now
And our weight is shooting up

In June we
Met more of our relatives
On our Mummy’s side
We’ve had lots of cuddles
We are certainly not shy

In June we
Tested out our beach tent
And we paddled in the sea
We went swimming up in Prudhoe
And went in a Jacuzzi!!

In June
Esther finally met her God Mum
Who we hope to see lots and lots more
We visited The Farne Islands
Saw birds and seals around the shore

In June we
Discovered DVDs
And pulling them off a shelf
Esther started to use a spoon
To try and feed herself!

In June
William learned to play copying games
And push a ball back and forth
We learned that Aunty Julie is
Going to have a baby boy!

William developed a love of owls
And a very infectious giggle
Esther started to be a fidget
When you change her nappy she wriggles!

As the month was ending
Nanny Nairn arrived from Spain
And so July is sure to be
An eventful month again!
