My whole reason for starting blogging was to welcome Esther and William to the world. My beautiful daughter and her brother, my son, born on the 24th July, 13 weeks too soon. They spent 59 days in NICU and looking at them now, you really would never know.
My musical memory is of the beginning of their tiny lives and the soundtrack to those early days.
This is Wires by Athlete with photos of Esther and William at their beginning.
THE VIDEO ON FACEBOOK (should it not work here!)

Oh Jennie that must have been such a heart-wrenching time, it really is very emotional.looking at those photos of their early days!
It seems such a long time ago and yet seems like yesterday. I have very mixed emotions when I remember that time. It is good to think back and reflect. It reminds me of how lucky I am to have them with me. Makes me pull myself together whenever I am in a grump. I try to treaseure every moment with them as I know that they have worked so hard to come from this, their beginning x
Thanks for joining in, for some reason I can’t view the video even if I click through to FB? I know the song and I think its a great one, but I really want to see the pictures. Will try again through a different browser? xx
Yep – different browser worked!!
That is just the most perfect song for your video. I can’t begin to imagine what those first 60 days must have been like for you and your family. Esther and William are beautiful and I’m now feeling very broody again!!
Thank you for joining in xx
Oh heck, this song always makes me cry. When it first came out I thought it was OK and then my Hub told me what it was about (and I actually listened to the lyrics!) and OMG now it brings on a WORLD of emotion! Just watching it again with the pics of your beautiful twins… *sob*
Just ignore me, I’m being all soppy and daft 😉
I find it so hard to listen to, I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to write and perform. A beautiful song x
Amazing that you all survived such a difficult time! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for Rewinding at the Fibro.
