It is one year today until our wedding!  The countdown begins.  And so much to enjoy between now and then!

Today we got to the hospital at about 7.45am.  Sibby was the twin’s night nurse and she said that they had both had a good night.  They were sleeping soundly when we arrived.  Esther woke in time for her feed but did not feed very well at all.  After a day of bad feeding from them both yesterday it was just too much and I started crying.  Tracy, our nurse, was lovely and has been so helpful ever since.  Encouraging me to feed and do their medications.  I also learned different ways to wind a baby.  Esther first, then William, did their first ever burps!!  I was so proud! A true Mummy moment!

Despite the bad feeding yesterday both babies have gained weight.  10 grams for William and 30g for Esther.  2020g and 1790g respectively.  4lb 6oz and 3lb 15oz ish!  Esther needs 5 more grams to reach 4 pounds! 

Not sure they will gain anymore weight by tomorrow as they have both been quite sick today.  I think it is because they are getting more milk from me than we think, I hope that is what it is.  Tomorrow we are going to try half top ups.  We will be in late tomorrow so will start with the 11.30am and 12.30pm feeds, all being well.  Awake, alert and hungry!!
