Finding a changing bag for Dad to take out and about has been a real challenge for us. So many of the best baby bags are really quite girly but we think, Daddy and Me, that Baby Mule have come up with the answer.
A multi-functional changing bag that comes in a properly masculine style. A huge sigh of relief was heard in our household when Daddy realised that he would not have to be taking my beautiful Pink Lining bag out with him on Mummy’s day off.
Having two bags also means that I can keep Daddy’s bag well stocked and he can even keep it in the car so that he knows that it is there, fully prepared, when he needs it.
Baby Mule, in our opinion, have filled a gap for families everywhere.
The Baby Mule changing bag can be used as a rucksack or backpack, a messenger bag or clipped on to your buggy handles. This versatility in itself means that David can use it in his prefered mode of rucksack and I can clip it to the buggy. You can also change the mode easily whilst out and about so if you go off to explore somewhere with out the buggy you are still able to take your bag.
The Baby Mule comes bulging with accessories. A neoprene bottle insulator, a wipe clean wet and/or dirty bag and a padded changing mat amongst them. Each accessory has its place and can be secured into the bag with a popper.
The main features of the Baby Mule are:
22 litre capacity rucksack
2 main compartments
Structured storage areas within the bag
Security zippered pockets inside
External pockets for quick access
Handy grab handles
Water resistant fabric
Bright contrast lining
Designed for use by men or women
Changing pouch for nappies and wipes
Padded wipe clean mat
I have loved using this bag today and was amazed at how much stuff I could fit into it. There was plenty of room for everything that I needed for Esther and William and me.
The bag looks good too. It is attractive, it is sturdy and it is practical. It can make a parent’s life easier which is surely what the design of baby accessories should be all about?
I really love the Baby Mule changing pouch. It is just the right size to fit in a couple of nappies, a small pack of wipes and some nappy sacks. Today at my NCT Bumps and Babes group when I needed to change wither of the twins it was so easy to take the pouch out of the bag knowing that I had everything that I would need. My old changing bag does not have a pouch and so I would have to gather each of the required items from separate pockets in the bag. This is a neat and timesaving idea. I love it and I know that Daddy will too. He likes to be efficient and organised. He hates having to root around searching for different paraphernalia to get a job done.
So here you have it, in my honest and humble opinion, the perfect bag for busy Dads. Starting it’s life as a hospital bag and becoming Daddy’s day out bag.
A fabulous find from Baby Mule. If you fancy a bag for yourself or your man then you can find more information and stockists here.
We were supplied with one Baby Mule changing bag for the purposes of this review.
