Charity Advent Calendars For Children

This year I am trying to spend less money over the festive period

And my first budget change is with advent calendars

In the past the children have had toy filled calendars

And with four children that can be a cost of around £100

This year I have talked to the children and we have decided

To fill our advent with books and stories and sweet treats

And instead of calendars with toys or stationery

We are going to have calendars with pictures behind each window

And calendars that help to raise money and awareness for charity

Here are some of the calendars that have caught my eye

The children are yet to choose which ones they would like

NATIONAL TRUST: A WOODLAND CHRISTMAS

WOODLAND TRUST: CHRISTMAS OAK

WWF: JANE FOSTER POLAR ANIMALS ADVENT CALENDAR

I absolutely adore this calendar designed by Jane Foster.

TRAIDCRAFT: THE REAL ADVENT CALENDAR

This is a brilliant advent calendar that tells the story of the first Christmas and has a chocolate treat each day.

TRAIDCRAFT: DIVINE FAIRTRADE CHOCOLATE CALENDAR

ADVENT OF CHANGE CHILDREN’S CHARITY CALENDAR

I love this calendar and wonder if this might be the way we countdown to Christmas this year, such a lovely idea

There’s nothing quite like waking up each morning to discover you’ve changed the world. Beautifully updated for 2021, with all-new charity donations and eye-catching designs, our best-selling charity advent calendars are back and ready to brighten up your Christmas countdown.

The Children’s Advent Calendar is designed for the whole family to enjoy and understand – with bright colours and child-friendly language to help them learn about giving back whilst counting down to Christmas… and just for fun, Santa’s lost some of his presents behind the doors. Can you help find them all?

HOW IT WORKS…
1. Buy the calendar – 24 donations are included in the price.

2. Open the doors – Each day, discover which charity you’ve helped.

3. Feel good – You’ve changed the world!

The Advent of Change Children’s Calendar reveals a new charity recipient every day: each of the 24 perforated doors represents a 50p donation and will tell you how your contribution could be used – from providing food and medicine for those in need, to protecting our oceans and endangered animals.

We are a non-profit organisation, and over 85% of the proceeds from this purchase go directly to charity. See ‘Charities supported’ to view the 24 amazing causes.
