WPD12: Kyna Boutique Giveaway

And finally ….

We have a winner!

Congratulations Louise Bowman!!

The wonderful thing about blogging is that you realise you are not on your own. You spill your thoughts on to a screen, wear your heart on your sleeve and someone somewhere reads those words, hears your cries, understands them and responds to them. Reaches out to share their own words, their own story. It forms a bond. A virtual, special bond. And makes moments like this one possible.

As part of World Prematurity Awareness Month I am featuring products from different companies that work with babies and have some link to tiny babies of their own.

Jenny at KyNa Boutique has been very supportive of my efforts here to raise awareness of World Prematurity Day and the work done here in the UK by Bliss for these tiny babies and their families.

Jenny knows first hand what it is like to be the mummy of a premature baby. Her own son was born at just 32 weeks. Her own personal experience of prematurity led Jenny to choose Bliss as her businesses nominated charity. You can read here the reasons why Jenny chose Bliss as the nominated charity for Kyna Boutique.

As well as donating to Bliss Jenny also supports the SCBU that her son was looked after in during his earliest days.

Over the last 7 years Jenny has been a listening ear at the SCBU, going in and being a support for mums whose own baby was there at the time, listening and offering re-assurance. Sometimes it helps to speak to someone who has been through something similar.

Jenny has donated premature baby clothes, baby wipes, bubble bath and nappies to the unit that cared for her son. Jenny was surprised by how little funding they had & that they very often they didn’t have baby wipes etc as they weren’t seen as “essential needs”

As Jenny’s son grew older her link with the SCBU changed so Jenny began supporting Bliss as a charity instead of the local unit.

Over the last few years Jenny have been more involved with bake sales and Cake a Difference. She hopes to run the Sheffield Half Marathon in the not too distant future to raise funds for the charity.

And today she is donating a prize to be given away to one reader of Edspire in return for helping us raise awareness of World Prematurity Day taking place on the 17th November 2012.

KyNa Boutique are offering an organic cotton baby gift set, worth £32.99, in the size 3-6 months.

This Bamboo baby gift set includes a sleepsuit, long sleeved bodysuit, short sleeved bodysuit, hat, bib, mittens and a pair of booties.

All in white.

This gift set from Kyna Boutique would be perfect for a new baby or for an older prem as you can never have enough baby essentials. Especially if you have a baby like Matilda Mae who seems to poo through a sleepsuit every other day!!

The giveaway is open to UK Entrants Only and will close on Wednesday 14th November at 8.00pm.

In the meantime …

With Christmas now well on its way it would be rude to talk about KyNa Boutique without mentioning their Top Christmas Picks. I love the penguins myself!!
