This morning we (or rather I) waited with baited breath, on the absolute edge of my seat. Waiting for the results of the Toys R Us Toyologist competition. Had we done enough to make it into the final? Had we made the top ten?
And you know what? We did! We did it!
The Nairn Henley household of Charing, Kent are officially 2011 Toys R Us Toyologists.
I am so excited for the opportunities coming our way linked to this campaign. I am hoping to share the toys with friends and family and local causes such as the children’s ward in our local hospital where Esther and William are still outpatients today.
We have lots of ideas for interesting and slightly different reviews and we are so looking forward to sharing them all with you.
So please do watch this space for reviews, competitions, giveaways and articles from the heart.
We are lucky enough to be sharing this experience with some fantastic Mummy and Dadddy Bloggers and I am particularly pleased for The Boy and Me whose blog I love and have read every single post!! Also James Spence whose comic strip review was just awesome. Can’t wait to see what he does next!
I want to say well done to all the new toyologists. I know that we will all be amazing and I am so excited about getting to know some new online friends whilst sharing the journey with my real life friends too.
Let the adventures begin! We are ready and raring to review!
Thank you Toys R Us!

Congratulations Jennie, I’m so pleased for you that you, Esther and William have been chosen. And hubby too of course! I know that it’s going to be a great opportunity for you and will definitely help pass the time when you are confined to the safety of your own home because of the twins’ health.
Thank you x
